Sarah Thompson is an author and single mother who lives in Bridport, west Dorset with her children Stanley and Betty, her cat, Daphne the evil killer queen and her dog, Louie, King of the Sausage People. Sarah began writing as a trainee journalist on her local paper, the Bridport News, where she covered everything from court cases and business stories to pantomime reviews and record-breaking vegetables. When her children came along she went freelance and wrote features on relationships, family and parenting, for titles including The Daily Telegraph, Stella magazine and the Daily Mail. Her first book, Style Council: inspirational interiors in ex-council homes (Square Peg), was published in 2014. It was followed by You're So Mummy (Michael Joseph), a book about the perils of modern motherhood, in 2016. Since then she's been the ghost writer behind a number of bestselling memoirs for celebrities and influencers.
