Kalamata’s Kitchen is becoming a global franchise centered around Kalamata, a little girl with South Indian roots, and her stuffed alligator pal Al Dente The brand has inked partnerships with Imagine Kids+Family to create an animated series and Penguin Random House to produce a new book series. She sees her bold heroine as a chance to break down barriers, helping kids learn about cultures through adventures with food.
