I'm the author of four psychological thrillers. 'Bone by Bone' (longlisted for a CWA Steel Dagger Award, nominated as one of the best crime and thriller books of the year by The Guardian and the Sunday Express and named as an Amazon Rising Star); 'The Stolen Child', which has been optioned for film and TV rights by Keshet, the company that made 'Homeland'; 'My Mother's Secret' and 'One Year Later'. They're published by Corvus Books, and are available as audiobooks via Audible. I also have two short thriller stories in anthologies: 'The Beautiful Game' in 'The Perfect Crime' edited by Vaseem Khan and Maxim Jakubowski, published by Harper Collins, and 'The Divide' in 'The Book of Bristol', edited by Heather Marks and Joe Melia, published by Comma Press. 'The Beautiful Game' was shortlisted for a CWA Short Story Award. I write literary fiction and non-fiction under the name, Sanjida O'Connell. I live in Somerset, with my husband and daughter.
