Sandro Mattioli has been working as an investigative journalist on the Italian mafia in Germany since 2012. Since then, he has spoken to countless prosecutors and investigators, mafia dropouts and victims. He has been an interview guest for almost all German television and many radio stations, including Tagesthemen and heute. Mattioli is the chairman of the Berlin-based association mafianeindanke e.V., which has made a significant contribution to increasing awareness of the issue in Germany today and is committed to improving the fight against clans. He is also familiar with the political work on the subject. Mattioli has worked as a consultant. He was consulting German TV series Tatort and the successful podcast Mafia Land, as well as for international film documentaries. His book "Germafia" was published in May 2024 with exclusive research.
