Sabine O’Laughlin, MD, is a noted pathologist based in Florida, whose interest in death and disease fostered a passion for life and health. A seasoned functional health and wellness coach, she bridges the precision of science with the depth of transformational work to break through the myths of aging, burnout, and “just how it is.” After earning her doctorate in medicine from the University of Hamburg, Sabine studied pathology at Yale University and the Mayo Clinic. A board-certified pathologist, she is licensed to practice in Florida, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. At one point in her career, Sabine’s habit of eating sugary foods and beverages to maintain her energy led to a scale-topping weight of 280 lbs. And she didn’t think anything was wrong. After trying to prove acupuncture was “for sissies,” a shift in her universe occurred. Curiosity was aroused. She started exploring life beyond her career and found a natural supply of energy that kept opening doors to new discoveries. Today, she’s also a life coach after becoming a licensed Acupuncturist, a licensed Bioenergetic Therapist, a Senior Family Constellation Facilitator, a Pilates instructor, a neuro-linguistic programming coach, and an ordained teacher of the Diamond Approach by the Ridhwan Foundation. Sabine created her proprietary Health Matrix, which combines biological, genealogical, and psychological coordinates that help identify each person’s unique patterns that steal energy, block progress, and ultimately prevent them from pursuing the best version of themselves. The midlife is the space—too young to be old, too old to be young—where you’re at a powerful crossroads. Her book, The Curiosity Quotient, explores curiosity as the missing key to sustainable wellness and real transformation.
