Canadian-born author, Suzy Quenneville-Orpin, has always had a vivid imagination and a keen desire to write. Suzy views the world through her own narrative, weaving in the fascinating challenges, triumphs, and lifestyles of the people she meets. An unapologetic daydreamer and writer of wrongs, Suzy’s early experiences in Toronto, Ontario provided the perfect upbringing to fuel her creativity and discover the wonder of the roads less traveled. A move to the west coast brought new opportunities and in particular a love for the Pacific Northwest. After completing a business degree from St. Mary's College and a teaching credential from Cal State, Suzy began working as a Career Technical Education and English as a Second Language teacher in Berkeley, California. She is intrigued by the eclectic culture and enjoys the unique stories and experiences. The Catwalk Series was motivated by an accident that redefined the life of her model-niece, Sterling. Wanting to give a voice to additional characters, Suzy expanded the first book, Dream, into a five-part series. The original inspiration was the exciting, yet perilous, world of modeling in LA but a 'what next?' storyline emerged. The series encompasses a deep examination of characters struggling to find meaning in life and love. The books are written from an omniscient point of view allowing the reader to experience the story from multiple viewpoints while delving into intricate, and sometimes, dark, human existence and tumultuous relationships. Each novel is a stand-alone story with a conclusion and no cliff-hangers. The stories evolve and build on each other in an epic tale with some backstories spinning off into future books. A prologue and cast of characters are included to inform the reader of past events. DREAM introduces the cast of characters and the relationship developing between Casi and Kyle. It layers the superficial world of modeling with the lifestyle of a typical man, creating challenges and pitfalls. HOPE continues the story as reality and conflict consume the couple, and supporting storylines are expanded. TRUST explores the emotional rollercoaster of love, relationships, and coming to terms with the past. SEEK reveals secrets and unravels back story helping the characters move forward as emotional scars are healed. LOVE is the final book in the series, which spans five years, achieving triumph and finding meaning in life and love. The series primarily focuses on the main characters of Casi and Kyle but supporting characters are intricately woven throughout the five books.
