As a wife, mother of three, and US Navy Veteran. I have spent a great deal of my life in service to others. In late 2008 I realized that the one thing in my life that had not been given its due, was the love of my youth - writing. With the kids grown and my military service in the past, I made a pact with my Muse. I would put writing at the forefront and he would guide me to my ultimate goal, publication. This series was born out of one scene, the beginnings of which I'd scrawled on a napkin at a convention. Two characters came to life and played out a scene on a rooftop. Jace and Nix emerged. When I got home, I wrote the entire scene. I loved the characters. I loved the banter. I loved how writing it made me feel. I had a story which needed to be told. My niche is in a genre known as Dark Contemporary Fantasy. My series is The Dagger of Aita. You can find book one here on Amazon. Book two will be published shortly.
