Ryan Peters began his career in law enforcement in 2001 with the Long Beach, and then Newport Police Departments. With over twenty years of experience, he has worked as a Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Robbery/Homicide Detective, Patrol Sergeant, SWAT Team Commander, Internal Affairs Investigator, Robbery Homicide Sergeant, Lieutenant, Area Commander, and Traffic Commander. His leadership in several high-profile cases such as Peter Chadwick, Nancy Hammour, and the John Meehan (Dirty John) homicides led to features in 48 hours, 20/20, Rolling Stone, People Magazine, LA Times, and several others—garnering the attention of True Crime enthusiasts. Above all else, Ryan is a husband and father of four. He is an athletic coach for his kids, and loves helping the boys sharpen their gun and bow skills throughout the year. He lives a healthy lifestyle—running, adventure racing, playing golf, and spending quality time with the family. He gives all glory to God and lives every day blessed to be in his presence.
