Ruthann grew up in Upstate New York, where her favorite month of October is otherworldly. She writes dark speculative, gothic, and fantasy fiction, often rooted in history and folklore. Her work is published in numerous successful anthologies, a solo novella, and the novel “Delevan House.” Book I of The Delevan Trilogy written with her collaborative partner, Natasha Sinclair, who lives in Scotland. Extensive travel, superstition, and rural settings influence her characters and settings. She now lives on a cattle ranch in Texas with her husband and his animals. A large, blended family keeps her sane most of the time. Member HWA/BFS "Delevan House" Book I of a genre-bending trilogy, written with Natasha Sinclair, released in February, 2023 to stunning reviews.
