Ross Cameron is a day trader best known for turning a tiny account with less than six hundred dollars into over 18 million dollars in trading profits. No, those results are NOT typical. Most day traders lose money. But Ross isn't a typical day trader. To start, Ross achieved these gains without working a single day on Wall Street or at any trading firm. Make sure you check out his earnings disclaimer and audited track record at the Warrior Trading website. Ross was born and raised in southern Vermont. He is a graduate of the Dublin School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vermont College. He graduated from college right into the Great Recession and sought out alternative ways to make a living. This is how his journey of becoming a day trader began. In 2012, Ross founded Warrior Trading as a blog to chronicle his experience learning to day trade. In 2014, he opened a day trading chat room and began teaching day trading classes with a focus on risk management, stock selection and identifying the safest entries. In 2015, he published How to Day Trade, and in 2017, he funded a tiny account to prove that his trading strategies that he'd been using in a larger account, would work equally well in a tiny account. Between 2017-2019 the account grew steadily, and in 2020 and 2021, the growth exploded. This culminated with the GameStop short squeeze, and Ross's single biggest week of trading profits. While the market cooled off in 2022-2023, 2024 saw a resurgence of momentum. Today, Ross continues day trading and teaching classes at Warrior Trading. In his free time Ross enjoys sailing, gardening and fixing vintage Mercedes diesel engines. Ross lives with his wife and children in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
