She thought she should simply get used to that idea, since it wasn't likely to change. By spring, Ronnie decided there was no way she was going to remain single if there was a breath left in her body. Summoning up all her determination, she did everything in her power to change her relationship status. And it worked! First Ronnie had to discover what had kept her single and realized she had not been open to men or a real relationship since her college boyfriend had broken her heart 18 years earlier! After working to open her heart to love and feel attractive, she told everyone what she was up to. Before she knew it, Ronnie went out on a blind date that was the first of 30 dates in only 15 months. She met Paul on a blind date (#30!) and the two were married. Having successfully crammed 20 years of dating into a little over a year, Ronnie learned extremely quickly from her many mistakes.
