R F McMinn was born in the UK and educated at a state secondary and Nottingham University, where he gained an MA in Critical Theory and a PhD in American Studies. His thesis, Events and Local Gods – 5 Novels by Don DeLillo, is available as an e-book. He has worked as a tax officer, a ware-house operative, a postman, a marketing executive, a salesperson, and a teacher. The Wake Knot is his third novel. He lives in England and France with his wife, two grown children, and a cat.
