I’m a storyteller by nature—definitely more focused on the heart of a narrative than the technicalities of grammar, much to my editor’s ongoing distress. I have a soft spot for the passive voice and tend to view grammar rules as flexible suggestions. I’m drawn to stories that entertain, yes—but also challenge. I want readers to walk away seeing things a little differently, maybe even questioning what they thought they knew. When I’m not writing, I’m usually deep-diving into history, psychology, technology, religion, or soaking in the power chords of classic rock. My favorite part of writing is developing characters and plots that linger—ones that surprise, provoke, and stay with you long after the final page. Stories that don’t just pass the time, but pull back the curtain a little. My latest book, The Floridian Candidate, launches The Willing Fool Series, an episodic thriller/suspense series with a darkly comedic edge. It dissects corruption and media manipulation while peeling back the glossy veneer of the American Dream.
