Rob Swanson has an unfortunately common name, as evidenced by the dozen other authors by the same handle. This Rob hails from Seattle, found school unworthy of great pursuit but did pretty well anyway. Driven by a passion for comedy and performing, he went to Western Washington University as a triple major in Playwrighting, Acting and Directing. Three powerful degrees, let me tell you. Then, in a tumultuous night his senior year, Rob had a dramatic encounter with God. His newly-acquired faith changed his personality so much that performing lost its appeal. But writing didn't. Authoring and mounting dozens of plays, Rob eventually married and moved to Orlando, Florida where he had another drastic encounter, this time with the sun! Who knew? A lifetime of depression lifted (confirmed a few years later by moving back to grey, rain-soaked Seattle... it didn't take. He and his growing family jetted back to Orlando). Now spending the sunset years atop a mountain in Colorado, inspiration is a window away. Running a freelance writing business, Rob wrote in every kind of format you can imagine. He has ghostwritten 16 books, book doctored a dozen more and every now and then, squeezes in time for his own writing. The "Me and the Maniac in Outer Space" trilogy is a middle-school to young adult novel for readers with a passion for unique time travel tales. "Do Angels Still Fall?" is a well-received Christian novel for middle-school to elderly audiences. In coordination with author Lewis Seifert, pulled together "Letters From the Waiting Room" to examine personal letters in times of joy and tragedy. "Creativity Wears Boots," a non-fiction book exploring just why every human being is an artist (pssttt, it has to do with your brain structure), and how to build your ability as an artist and activate greater creativity in your life, is now available in Kindle, Print, and eventually in Audible (but not yet). Still active in screenwriting, Rob has several scripts available. Rob's greatest accomplishment was achieved in partnership with his wife, raising three amazing kids, two of whom are writers themselves. Life is good; God is great!
