I am Bob Albers and consider myself an author, entrepreneur, consultant and exceptional manager (I'm not sure everyone would agree with that one!). I am a former member of The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band (tenor sax) who graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Building Construction. Hopefully, I write better than most construction guys! My work included owning my own consulting business for 15+ years and working for major international consulting and engineering / construction companies on a variety of projects from small school and government work to power and renewables projects, to major oil & gas projects worth Billions. I have lived and worked outside of the U.S. for more than 28 years, mainly in Asia and the Middle East, and am currently working on an assignment in Europe. I've been to more than 80 countries for work or pleasure and base my writing on people that I know for most of my characters. I started writing my first book, which still isn't finished, more than 8 years ago. My friends would always talk about what an interesting life I was leading and said I should write about it, so I started, but just haven't been able to finish it yet. Hopefully soon! I normally live with my family in Texas in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I've been married for 22 years to my beautiful wife, have two daughters (both of whom are Aggies also!), and a weird little dog named Dixie.
