Robbie Freeman Shugart is an author, retired teacher and coach. As a native Texan, she was raised with a rich spiritual heritage from a small West Texas fellowship called Trent First Baptist Church. Robbie enjoys speaking to churches, women's groups and school/sports groups. She loves Jesus and focuses on living one day at a time. Robbie loves people and has the natural ability to share Jesus with others. She was ordained into the ministry through Fountaingate Church and has completed an Ordination and Healing School through Joan Hunter Ministries. She is part of a mission team to Peru and Israel. As a former teacher and coach, Robbie knows how important it is to be nudged out of a comfort zone. This is where her passion for encouraging others to experience Israel stems from. She understands the hesitations and fears many have and generously shares moments from her own journey to help them make the leap towards this life-changing place. Robbie and her husband, Steve Shugart, have been married since 1982 and have one daughter and two granddaughters. Robbie is a member of the Praise/Worship Team at her church and loves gardening, cooking, animals, nature, travel, journaling, sports and being with family. Recently, Robbie coauthored books with her father, Ronnie Dell Freeman, and mother, Betty Payne Freeman.
