I’m Rick Porterfield—pastor, author, and storyteller. My wife Rebekah and I co-pastor Grace Life Fellowship in The Villages, Florida, and have ministered together across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and South America. We were headed for divorce over 30 years ago, but God turned our train wreck into a testimony. Since then, we’ve seen miracles in marriages, physical healing, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We co-wrote Marriage By The Book and its companion workbook, which have helped countless couples restore their relationships. I also write both nonfiction and fiction to help people grow in real relationship with God. My fiction is gripping and grounded in Scripture, with every story followed by a section unpacking its biblical truths—I call it Faith Through Fiction. My other titles include Jumping Was Never the Way Up, Through the Storms, and the upcoming Welcome to the Family—a guide for new believers written from a pastor's heart. We’ve also raised four amazing (and now grown) kids.
