Hi, I'm Richard Newton and I'm an author and entrepreneur. I have written two best selling books including The Sunday Times #1 "The Little Book of Thinking Big". According to the British Society of Magazine Editors I am the 2015 "columnist of the year." My first book, "Stop Talking Start Doing: A Kick In The Pants In Six Parts" spent a record year in the number 1 spot at UK retailer WHSmith and has been published in 15 languages. My third and most recent book is "The End of Nice: How to be human in a world run by robots". It's a short book (a Kindle Single) which I hope will help the individual navigate their way through our accelerating world. There's an awful lot said about how companies and organisations should adapt to "Algorithms, Automation and AI" but much less about the individual response That's what I am interested in. This book is about the positive and liberated attitude that will enable individuals to flourish in our fast changing world. I also write for the Financial Times, The Guardian, British Airways Business Life magazine, Virgin and other publications. I have co-founded tech startups in London, Cork and Austin.
