Richard J. DeVries spent his career in the banking industry from Dallas to New York City and from Minneapolis to Michigan. He has served as President and CEO of three community banks, has founded two nonprofit organizations, and has served on the board of directors of seventeen nonprofit organizations. Rick has done public speaking around the country, has authored a newspaper column on leadership and success, and is passionate about identifying, living, and sharing principles that change lives. He and his wife, Dyana, have been married forty-one years, have six children, and (at the time of publication) sixteen grandchildren. Rick is an avid swimmer and skier and occasionally pretends he is a good golfer.
