His company, Patterson Ph.D. LLC offers dozens of teachings to benefit adults and kids who want to be the best version of themselves. His book publication, Making Sense of Life: A Guidebook for Teens & Parents, has been taught to schools across Colorado. Rich is the recipient of the Edwin Franko Goldman national award for outstanding contribution to the advancement of school bands. He loves being outdoors, and as a lover of snowmobiling, he has been to 13,000 feet on his sled, enjoying the views. Rich lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Beverly, of 40 years.
