Reuben Rose is a lover of life and of people, with an insatiable curiosity in ‘the human condition’. He has a natural ability to encourage those around him on their journey - such that his unique gifting could be described simply as that of a life coach. As well as being a husband and a father, he has had roles as a farmer, veterinarian, scientific researcher, academic leader, pastor and chairman of a group of CEOs and he is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Sydney. He has been a believer in the veracity of the Bible, and a student of its wisdom for over 40 years and, for the last 5 years, has been studying Hebrew in order to be able to dive deeper into the wisdom of this ancient book. Reuben believes that most of our modern problems result from losing touch with ancient biblical wisdom, and more so God Himself, the Author of this wisdom. In Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times, Reuben shares experiences from his own life journey highlighting challenging areas of life common to the post-modern human experience and how biblical wisdom can not only help in daily decision-making but can transform our lives and families out of chaos and destruction into the joy, peace and purpose for which we humans were made.
