Renee Russo is a high-energy change-maker obsessed with setting business owners free. After a series of catastrophic life events triggered by the “double exit” from her marriage and business, Renee fell hard. At her breaking point, she faced a difficult decision: Was she going to get back up or fall to her demise? Deciding to rise from this final fall, Renee bravely began the steep climb up the mountain to reclaim herself and rebuild her life. She quickly understood that this was not going to be an easy climb, but with nothing to lose, she courageously took up the challenge because, for the first time in her life, she felt she was worth it.

In the early stages of her inward personal development journey, Renee realized that many of the techniques and approaches she had tried in the past hadn’t worked because she was not ready to take it seriously, and also, her approach was designed to fail. One of the flaws in her approach was that her mindset, her behaviors, and her goals were not in alignment. Secondly, she was trying to do too many things at once and had overwhelmed herself. Then, when she unlocked the power of systems intelligence and the need to keep it all simple, she finally started to gain some forward momentum on her path to rebuilding her life.

Drawing from her business coaching toolkit and her self-help book library, Renee set about testing and curating a small set of simple and practical tools and disciplines that she could use to coach herself through her transformational journey. She applied design thinking concepts, tried many things, failed many times, and eventually distilled a simple, practical, and systemized personal energy management system that gave her the capacity to reclaim her identity, rebuild her life, and realize her freedom.
