Hello, and thank you for buying my books. Your time and your trust mean a lot, and I don't take either lightly.
A little about me. I've spent my career in high tech — running strategy, P&L, and sales for start-ups building something out of nothing — and before that, twelve years inside Dell, where I helped build a billion-dollar business. I've had some good wins. None were mine alone; they belonged to teams that were better than they had any right to be.
Here's what I believe. We're living through a rare convergence, AI at the center of it, and the leadership this moment demands is not the leadership we have. The old playbook won't carry us. That's the problem I keep circling back to — in my work, on stage, and in these books.
Today I'm CEO of 1105 Media, a leader in B2B marketing and media services. Forbes ranked me the #1 AI thought leader. I'm a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) and earned my Global MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business, where I received the Order of the Areté, given to one graduate in each MBA class for leadership. I'm also certified in AI from MIT and serve on the boards of three AI companies.
Now, the books.
It started with leadership. Chase Greatness: Enlightened Leadership for the Next Generation of Disruption — a two-time bestseller you'll find under Leadership and Culture.
Then I wanted to pull the people who felt behind on AI up to the starting line. That's AI Made Simple: A Beginner's Guide to Generative Intelligence (2nd Edition) and Prompting Made Simple: How to Use ChatGPT and Unlock the Power of AI — plain-English guides to ChatGPT and the tools around it. If you or someone you know is just getting started, begin here.
My three newest are where my head is right now (all three are available for pre-order now).
Liberated By Limits: How Doing More With Less Unlocks Breakthrough. In a world where AI can generate infinite options, the leaders who win won't be the ones who do more. They'll be the ones who do less, on purpose. The book makes the counterintuitive case for constraints — Apollo 13, Pixar, and Southwest all won because of them, not despite them — and introduces the TAM Framework (Target, Act, Modify) for using AI to narrow focus instead of adding noise.
Intelligence as a Commodity: Human Judgment as a Competitive Advantage. When intelligence gets cheap and sits everywhere, judgment becomes the edge. Co-written with strategist Jason Hunter, it's an executive operating system for leading AI transformation — strategic foresight, organizational redesign, and ethical governance — built on real tools like HorizonAI and AI Deep Blue Strategy rather than more trend talk.
Your New Health OS: How Anyone Can Use AI to Live Longer, Healthier, and Smarter. Medicine is going through its biggest shift since antibiotics, and most patients have no idea how to use what's coming. Co-authored with longevity surgeon Dr. Darshan Shah, it's a practical manual for using AI — wearables, symptom-checkers, gene editing, robotic surgery — to take control of your health, with clear eyes on the risks so you come out empowered, not naïve.
I also keynote and coach. If I can help your organization, reach out — I'd like that.
