Rachel Somars is a native of California but claims that she was born in the wrong country as her heart belongs in England. She is famous, or perhaps infamous, for saying, “Everything British is better!” Rachel loves all animals, especially dogs, and all money collected for any of her books is being donated to help animals. She has been known, much to the consternation of her neighbors, to feed the gophers. Her series, single at 40 is funny, engaging, heartbreaking, and full of twists and turns. So far she has published two books and has written one more that is still being proofread, and is in the process of writing a fourth book, all of the same series. A note to my readers: You can rest assured that any animals you may encounter in my books will always be safe and happy. I would never include anything about abuse or cruelty to animals. I have been known to burn books that include such atrocities.
