My name is Rachel Bross. I am a mother and wife. I enjoy writing, reading, sewing, painting, and singing. I am currently juggling work, kids, and my writing. This is my first journey through the published authors' world. I am having a good experience though. Writing is something I am passionate about. I have written the second installment of the series for Strange Glow, and part of the third along with other stories that aren't finished, yet. Stories have always been a big part of my life since I learned to read when I was four or so. My first large book that really flung me into the world of reading was Frankenstein when I was twelve. This was my first book to read that was over fifty pages. I read it in one night. Ever since that night, books and stories became a part of me. I didn't, however, get into writing until my sophomore year of high school. I started off with poetry, but found myself better suited for fiction when I won second place in the Delta Youth Writing Contest sponsored by Morgan Freeman. I hope those of you who read my work will be inspired and flung into the world of stories and books just like I was.
