Born in 1979, RJ learnt from a very young age that he could escape the harsh reality of life by slipping into his imagination. He was drawn to the written word by literacy influences such as Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman, Peter Straub, Edgar Allen Poe, and Bram Stoker. With a Diploma in Psychology and a lot of research and analysis of the human mind, rolled together with personal experience, RJ writes stories that will leave the reader forever fearful of the monsters that hide in the shadows of the mind.
