I'm from Cornwall, and if you know Cornwall, you'll understand why it keeps turning up in my fiction. There's something about the coast and the grey Atlantic skies that feels like the end of the world. Turns out, that's great inspiration.

By day I work in cybersecurity, which sounds dull until you realise it means I spend my life thinking about how systems fail, how chaos spreads, and how people behave when everything goes wrong.

I came to writing late, but I came to it full on. What began as a quiet experiment became a series, then a full-blown obsession. I write the kind of stories I want to read: grounded in real places, built on unsettling ideas, and with enough wit to keep you reading long past the point where common sense suggests you should stop.
