Living in rural areas for the greater part of his life, the author offers a community look at writing with the undertones of family and relationship. With an entrepreneurial career of self-employment spanning over four decades, he has owned and managed businesses in agriculture, construction and die cutting. As a trim carpenter, a good portion of those years were contributed to projects ranging from farmhouse remodels to the ornate finish work in multimillion dollar homes. In the midst of all these endeavors, a love for music became the plaster to hold it all in place, playing the guitar and piano while writing songs for his own enjoyment. Over the course of his adult life, his passions have taken him to both coasts of this country and abroad to another continent that he still holds a love and fascination for. Africa.
