R. L. Dodson grew up in Southern Alabama and holds a B.S. in History and Criminal Justice. She spent twenty years working in the Criminal Justice arena in the northern panhandle of Florida, where she now resides. From an early age, she loved to read and later wrote poetry. She has published two fiction novels in the justice series: Heart of Jaded Justice and Eternal Justice. The High Sheriff: John Perry McDaniel III is her most recent and first non-fiction book. When release it reached #1 in New Releases on Amazon. R. L. enjoys spendimg time with family including her 2 rescue fur babies and traveling to historic sites.
