R.B. Russell is an English author, born in Sussex. He has previously had four collections of short stories published, Putting the Pieces in Place (2009), Literary Remains (2010) and Leave Your Sleep (2012), Death Makes Strangers of Us All (2018), three novellas, Bloody Baudelaire (2009) The Dark Return of Time (2014) and The Stones are Singing (2016), a collected edition, Ghosts (2012), and two novels, She Sleeps (2017) and Waiting for the End of the World (2020). With his partner, Rosalie Parker, he publishes classic and contemporary works of curious and macabre fiction under the Tartarus Press imprint. Russell is also, occasionally, a composer, illustrator, photographer and filmmaker.
