He was raised in Sylacauga, Alabama, a small town southeast of Birmingham. But more importantly, he was raised on music. Although his parents introduced him to Soul, Blues, and Gospel, his older brother and cousins introduced him to Hip Hop. Now living in Twin Cities, Minnesota, he spends much of his time with his wife and kids -- and listening to old school jams.
