I am a physicist by training. Went all the way and got my Ph. D. and taught physics for a while in University of Utah. Somewhere along the line, Apple tempted me (again). Next thing I know, I quit University career and joined Apple in California and spent several years in Internanational marketing and Apple University. While I was in Apple, I had an interesting opportunity to become a research fellow and explore how people learn, lead, create, collaborate and think. I ended up spending a year around the world and interviewing several extra ordinary people including nobel laureates, CEOs, sports geniuses, spiritual leaders, psychologists and medical doctors. That changed my life completely and led me to the path that I have been on now -- for 23 long and wonderful years! I worked with a lot of companies -- as consultant, executive coach to C suite leaders, teacher and trainer in the areas of leadership, change and innovation. Along the way, I accepted faculty appointments again - Saybrook University, Indian School of Business are two examples and I continue to be a visiting professor in a variety of schools around the world and offer executive education programs (Tuck school of Dartmouth, Indian School of Business, Marshall School of USC, London School of Business are some examples). While i wrote a couple of e-books before, 'From smart to wise' is the first book in print and is published by Jossey Bass. Indian rights are purchased by Random House India. I live in the Silicon Valley and travel to various places as the opportunity beckons!
