Phil Rosenzweig’s latest book is ONE SPLENDID SEASON: BASEBALL AND AMERICA IN 1912, TOLD WITH THE WORDS AND IMAGES OF THE HASSAN TRIPLEFOLDER SET. His best-known book is THE HALO EFFECT … AND THE EIGHT OTHER BUSINESS DELUSIONS THAT DECEIVE MANAGERS (2007), called "one of the most important management books of all time" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, and translated into fourteen languages. He is also author of REGINALD ROSE AND THE JOURNEY OF 12 ANGRY MEN (2021), a biography of one of television’s most accomplished writers and the story of his most famous drama. A native of Northern California, Phil earned a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara in 1976, an MBA from UCLA in 1980, and a PhD from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1990. He was a professor of business administration at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 1996 to 2021.
