Peter Jaksa, Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist Author Peter Jaksa, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 30 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with ADHD. As a creative hobby he is also an author of historical fiction. His first novel is Decebal Triumphant, which covers the early years of the Roman - Dacian wars during the period of King Decebal and Emperor Domitian of Rome. It is available as an e-book or paperback. Dr. Jaksa is the author of numerous articles and columns about ADHD, including articles published in ADDitude Magazine, Attention Magazine, Organize Magazine, and FOCUS. He has presented at conferences to health care professionals, educators, and the general public. Dr. Jaksa is a contributing writer and a member of the Scientific Advisors Board for ADDitude Magazine (www.additudemag.com). He is a past president of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (www.add.org). Dr. Jaksa is currently employed in private practice at ADHD Center (www.addcenters.com), which strives to improve and enrich the lives of people with ADHD/ADD through high-quality, comprehensive, affordable treatment and support services.
