A book editor for nearly forty years, I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing authors. I edited Professor Stephen Hawking, Deepak Chopra, Douglas Adams, Susan Cain, Queen Noor, Carol Burnett, Arianna Huffington, Paula Poundstone, Byron Katie, and many others. Then one day I had an epiphany. I realized that all the wisdom I'd absorbed from rubbing elbows with these prominent thought leaders had been hiding in plain sight all along: it was located in a remarkable film I'd watched as an eleven-year-old child, "The Wizard of Oz.
