Patricia Karnowski was born in Michigan but left for San Francisco as soon as she graduated with her MA in Clinical Psychology. She lived on the edge of China Town and started using Chinese Medicine whenever she needed medical treatment.

Patricia moved to New York City in 1993 where she had a private psychotherapy practice for 10 years. This was right at the time when many people started taking Prozac and Paxil and other medications to deal with their depression and anxiety.

She decided to go back to school and get a masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine so she could offer these patient a natural alternative to these medications to avoid all of their side effects.

Patricia finished her degree in Chinese Medicine and started promoting her new practice in 2000. She put newsletters all over Manhattan. One of the newsletters blew into a woman's cart who had been trying to get pregnant for 20 years. This woman called and asked if Patricia would give her Chinese herbs and acupuncture to help her get pregnant at age 42.

Patricia was a little skeptical that it would help a woman this age but sure enough she got pregnant. Word got out about this success and more and more woman came for help getting pregnant.

Patricia found out in 2003 that she had ovarian cancer that was the result of PCOS. She had the 10 pound ovarian tumor removed but did not take chemo or radiation. She is completely healthy now with the help of Chinese herbs and her whole food plant based diet.

Patricia like most women with PCOS was overweight since she was a little girl. She was so excited by her 70 pound weight loss as the result of the whole food plant based diety started telling her patients about the new way of eating and everyone was amazed by the results.

Patricia had been giving out these recipes so much she decided it was time to just put them in a book and sent them out in the universe to see if they could help other people too.

The book doesn't have any of the science behind the success of the diet but she offers as a BONUS to the book buyers, a series of videos by predominate scientists and doctors which explains all this.
