I probably seem an unlikely candidate to author a book on spirituality. In the U.S., I earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago. I had varied careers in the business world, but when my hectic lifestyle took a physical toll, I followed my intuition and jumped off the fast track with no idea what I would do next. A ten-year sabbatical ensued during which I sought physical healing for myself and was present for friends and family members who were gravely ill. Observing how each person approached death of the physical body rekindled a latent interest in spirituality. When I became very ill with an autoimmune disease in 2016, I viewed it as an opportunity to practice spiritual principles and surrender outcome to God. At the same time, I employed the analytical skills I developed when I co-owned a business-to-business consulting firm to forge my own path to physical recovery, incorporating many cutting-edge scientific developments not yet employed by mainstream medicine. My literary debut, Letters to God: Transforming Crisis into Consciousness, bears witness to the the spiritual transformation that can result by facing a serious life crisis. I am currently writing a book that chronicles how incorporation of complementary and functional medicine, analysis and support of individual genetic variations, nutrition, and lifestyle changes healed me.
