His debut book, Reverse Golf Fitness: Beyond Injury and Pain, introduced readers to his proven system for rehabbing the body and building a healthy, repeatable swing rooted in functional movement to get back on course. His second publication, Easy Golf Swing Beginner’s Mind, focuses on simplicity in the golf swing, core fundamentals, and the mental shift needed to truly enjoy the game—born from his Passon for Zen philosophies, his experience living in Toyko for years and teaching World Mythology in University for a decade. His upcoming third book, Beatrix Hoyt: America’s First USGA Women’s Champion, brings to life the inspiring story of a forgotten trailblazer, America's first prolific woman golfer, who won three national titles and retired before the age of 21. This historical fiction work marks a new era in his authorship—where the history of golf beginnings meets PGA Dave's compelling narrative. Dave lives, plays, and teaches in San Diego, California, with his wife Yumiko and their daughter Hana. He’s often found walking 9 holes daily, playing bass guitar, or reading voraciously.
