Most novelists start young. PF Walsh started at eighty‑one. After decades at the helm of multiple companies—navigating mergers, acquisitions, and corporate turnarounds—he stepped away from business in 1994, retiring early to the sun‑drenched desert of Palm Springs, California. There, amid palm trees and mountain views, he began crafting a new chapter of life. Writing had always been part of his story—his business thoughts appeared in The Wall Street Journal Publications—but fiction was a leap into the unknown. In the summer of 2019, he debuted with The Council of Hhearn, a three‑book sci‑fi series. Readers embraced it, and Peter discovered a second career he hadn’t planned for but now can’t imagine living without. What followed was a burst of creativity: the romantic Velvet Abbey series (2020–2021), Parker Milbanke (2022), Ashwood Hall (2023), Unsuitable Choices (2024), and Improbable Legacy (2025). Except for his sci‑fi beginnings, his novels are contemporary romances—often set in England, brushed with Regency elegance, and always full‑length tales available in multiple formats. By the end of 2024, Amazon readers had turned or purchased more than 800,000 pages of his work. And when he’s not writing, you might find him in white tie and tails at the Vienna State Ball, a tradition he attends each year. For PF Walsh, it’s proof that it’s never too late to start a new story—especially your own.
