Olen Kersey is somewhat of a legend is the surrounding areas of the Tennessee hills. Similar to the legends you grow up with in any hometown of under 3,000 residents, but that never make it to the AP or cable news feeds. As many men of his era did, Olen spent his early 20's doing factory work in a local union ran automotive factory and at nights learned and honed his crafts of woodworking, carpentry, and hunting small game in the hills. One of the main contributors to Mr. Kersey's success at this age is his willingness to share the wisdom he has learned throughout the back half of his 30 years of life. Those spent dismantling barns, building custom furniture, and learning all the trades to build his own homes 3 times over.
