Nonye Akuba is the visionary behind the 7:47 Ministry and Annual 7:47 Retreat. A graduate of Spelman College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Economics, and of New York University's School of Professional Studies where she earned a Masters of Science in Management with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership, Nonye is both a prolific and accomplished creative and author. Formerly an elementary school teacher, product manager, and bartender, who once featured on a song that peaked at #1 on Rap's BillBoard 100, Nonye also enjoys writing new adult fiction through an intrinsically female and urban lens. Sometimes gritty, and at other times comedic, Nonye's literary works gather inspiration from her own life experiences, lessons, and observations from those around her. And then, she sprinkles them with her overactive imagination. Entertaining and engaging, Nonye's fictional works give her readers front row seats in the lives of her characters as they journey toward self-discovery, authenticity, spiritual awakening and sometimes true love. Nonye provides coaching services and mentorship for women that desire to utilize their creative gifts, business savvy and/or entrepreneurial ventures to share their faith and spread the gospel. Nonye is also a certified realtor serving the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her daugther and Yorkie-Poo, Remington.
