Nicola Wood is a hair-loss specialist, trichologist and cancer activist. Diagnosed with breast cancer at just 36, she discovered the lack of support for individuals experiencing hair loss. Determined to make a difference, Nicola made it her mission to provide essential guidance and care before, during and after hair loss. She founded The Wonderful Wig Company, a national service dedicated to supporting clients through every stage of medical hair loss. Nicola was named the Most Inspiring Businesswoman at the Best Business Women Awards in 2023 and also delivered a TEDx Talk in 2024 on her advocacy. Through her work and her activism, she has given women a voice and helped the medical world understand the far-reaching impact of hair loss and how we can do better.
