I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen. I develop stories and characters every day, usually working on multiple projects at once - right now I'm working on a fantasy novel, an anthology book and a screenplay. When I'm not writing I teach, act, write plays and direct independent feature films. I don't like to be stuck in an office on my own for too long, so I often take a notepad out and about and work in the Great Outdoors. I've had a lot of disappointments in my career: rejections, miscommunications, producers and publishers flaking out on me. But I keep going. My stories have been called many things - mysteries, adventure stories, social satire - but they have one common element, an emotional connection with readers worldwide. I don't just write for myself. I always have my readers in mind.
