One of the rare few to serve as both a U.S. Army Green Beret and an MH-60M Black Hawk pilot with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Nick served 13 years and deployed seven times, including three combat tours. He flew direct support for Tier 1 Special Mission Units in some of the world’s most hostile environments. On the surface he looked unshakable. Underneath, he was waging a war with depression and thoughts of suicide. Today, he is the author of Stigma and a keynote speaker who challenges the belief that endless grinding and pushing through pain is the definition of strength. Strength is not the absence of struggle. It is the courage to face it. His mission is to help leaders and organizations redefine what it means to be strong.
