Nick Brownlee is a journalist and broadcaster who lives in Cumbria, UK, with his wife, daughter and dog. He is the author of the acclaimed “Jake & Jouma” series of Kenya-based thrillers, and, writing as Jim Ford, the “Bug House” crime series set in his native Tyneside. He has also written several non-fiction titles including “Vive le Tour” and “Bubblegum: The History of Plastic Pop”.
