Neil Doig is the author of the book Millennial Money Mindset: If you want the fruits you need the roots, which was shortlisted for the Financial Times and McKinsey writing prize in 2018 and was an Amazon bestseller in 2019. Millennial Money Mindset is now on Amazon in print, Kindle and audible. He decided to write his book Millennial Money Mindset to give access to knowledge that is usually only available for the privileged few. He believed that financial literacy should be for the many and not the few and didn't agree with financial advice costing £10,000s, which is out of reach for the average person. He was told he couldn't publish his book if he was to keep his job as a financial adviser. It was at this point that he thought that financial education was more important than making money as a financial adviser and decided to leave the profession and create an Edtech company called Money Tipps. Money Tipps educates, coaches and empowers better investing. Neil Doig is the founder of Money Tipps which educates, coaches and empowers better investing. Neil was authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to give financial advice after passing a number of written and practical exams. He gave financial advice to individuals and business owners at St James's Place Wealth Management running his own Financial Planning practice. His clients were high net individuals ranging from city professionals to musicians who recently signed their second album and one client who made £10 million from Bitcoin Cryptocurrency Neil Doig also worked at Shell Trading as a shift trader and made millions of pounds trading the gas market. His biggest daily gain was over £100,000 in profits in a day. He is a Chartered shipbroker and worked in the shipping industry for 6 years moving oil tankers around the world. Neil Doig is a qualified coach and offers 1-1 money coaching to clients as well as giving group money coaching. He has spoken at Universities, workplaces and has hosted a number of events in collaboration with WeWork, General Assembly and was part of the Feast Festival speaking at the Picturehouse cinema. He has the aim of helping at least one person a day make better decisions with their money so they can live their best lives possible. Neil Doig is the Founder of Money Tipps (Tax, Investments, Property, Pensions, Savings) an EdTech Company aiming to make Financial Education simple, fun and achievable. Neil Doig has created the world's first investing trading card game called Footbal Formation Asset Allocation, which is on sale in shops in Oxford.
