Nadia Salomon is the award-winning author of GOODNIGHT GANESHA, a Bank Street Best Children's Book, ALSC DIA Selection, and #NCTEWow Poetry Honor book. Her acclaimed title, A VOICE OF HOPE, is the first picture book biography ever written about iconic civil rights activist, Myrlie Evers-Williams. It won a 2025 SCBWI Crystal Kite Honor Award, the 2025 BCALA, SLJ Children and Youth Literary Award, a 2025 Notable Social Studies Trade Book award, a 2025 Bank Street Best Children's Book Award, and earned two starred reviews from SLJ and the Horn Book. Her picture book, A RAKHI FOR RAKESH, is a heartwarming story between a brother and sister set against the sibling holiday, Raksha Bandhan. Nadia writes on themes of South Asian and Caribbean culture, STEM, nonfiction, and humor. She is also an award-winning journalist and holds a journalism degree from Emerson College. She works closely with SCBWI, 12x12 Challenge, Kids Comics Unite, and is on faculty with Storyteller Academy.
