N. E. McMorran is a multi award-winning British-Cypriot AuDHD author who previously worked at the BBC and as a teacher in London nursery, primary and secondary schools. She founded the Cyprus magazine publishing company AccessArts Publications Ltd, and the London based independent 'Spondylux Press', run by female/non-binary autistic professionals to support and publish inclusive, own-voice books by neurodivergent writers. While the press has ceased publishing, they continue to offer guidance and editing / book production services to the ND community. Her debut children's series MOOJAG, which won the Nautilus Book Award in 2024 and 2021, Firebird Award 2023, and Purple Dragonfly award 2024, was inspired by her experiences growing up in a neurodivergent family, as well as mother and home educator, and her journey to late autism diagnosis. In 2021 she worked with autistic poet Peter Street on his childhood biography GOALKEEPER: Memoir of Poet Peter Street (Games, Secrets, Epilepsy & Love), which was shortlisted for the Rubery Book Award 2023. @moojagbook www. moojag. com www. spondyluxpress. com
