Murphy Daley has been writing since she was a child. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, she moved to California in her early 20s to finish college.

Never imagining that her ordinary life would be interesting to others, she submitted an essay to a writing contest in her much-delayed senior year. She won the humor and satire prize, and discovered her voice meant something to a bigger group than she knew. Her stories drawn from life have entertained many since that time, growing her circle of fans.

She lives with her family in the foothills of Los Angeles, alternating between chasing an aging but enthusiastic Airedale, her fleet and tireless young daughter and the next perfect metaphor.

There are several more books in the queue, keep checking.
