Martin Rowe is the co-founder of Lantern Books, a book publishing company. He is the author of The Polar Bear in the Zoo: A Speculation; The Elephants in the Room: An Excavation; and Nicaea: A Book of Correspondences. He is co-author of Right Off the Bat: Baseball, Cricket, Literature, and Life (with Evander Lomke) and Lifelong Running (with Ruth Heidrich). He is also the editor of a non-fiction anthology, The Way of Compassion: Vegetarianism, Environmentalism, Animal Advocacy, and Social Justice, and Running, Eating, Thinking: A Vegan Anthology. He is also the author of The Trumpiad, a satirical poem in twelve cantos on the first year of the forty-fifth president of the United States.
